IT’S ALL IN THE PREPARATION
Carefully move and cover your furniture and personal belongings
Clean the floor, then tape heavy-duty rosin paper down to protect it
Remove wall hangings, outlet covers, and light switch plates
Clean wall surfaces and sand any glossy or rough surfaces
Mask adjoining surfaces and trim (all molding, windowsills, baseboards)
Set up a staging area for pouring paint, and organizing tools and supplies
